Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This policy covers Pining, operated by Salesmap Inc. (13F 1310, 27 Teheran-ro 2-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06241, Republic of Korea). Our privacy officer is 이종범 (Jongbeom Lee), reachable at jongbeomlee@salesmap.kr.
What we collect
- Account — when you sign in with Google we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture.
- Conversations — the messages you send to characters and the replies generated for you, so your history is there when you come back.
- Ruby activity — your balance and a record of each grant, purchase, and spend.
- Purchases— we store the payment provider’s customer and transaction identifiers. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it
To sign you in, to generate character replies, to keep your conversation history and ruby balance, to deliver rubies you have paid for, and to detect abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else processes it
- Google — sign-in, and the Gemini model that generates character replies. Your message text is sent to the model to produce a reply.
- PayPal — our payment processor. PayPal collects your payment and billing details directly under its own privacy policy; we never see your card number.
- Vercel and Supabase — hosting and database. Data is stored on servers in the Asia-Pacific region.
These providers process data on our behalf, which may involve transferring it outside your country.
How long we keep it
Account data, conversations, and ruby records are kept while your account exists. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its conversations. Email jongbeomlee@salesmap.kr and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your conversations and forfeits any remaining rubies — request a refund first if you want one, under our Refund Policy.
Children
The service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16, and accounts identified as belonging to someone under 16 are removed. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the service before they take effect.
